At your appointment

    • Passport: Your medical or X-ray cannot proceed without your passport, as it is the primary and preferred form of identification for Immigration. A verified copy is not accepted. For details on accepted identity documents in New Zealand or Australia, please refer to the relevant guidelines.

    • Australian Visa applicants: Bring your HAP referral letter or upload a copy when scheduling your appointment.

    • Medical information: Include relevant documents such as medication lists, dosages, specialist letters, and test results.

    • Glasses or contact lenses: If you usually wear them, bring them for the vision test.

    • For those under 18: You must bring a parent or guardian.

    • Interpreter: If you do not understand or speak English, bring an interpreter.

    • Pregnant women: Bring a letter from your primary caregiver with your estimated due date.

  • On the day of your test:

    • Eat and drink as you normally would.

    • Make sure to drink fluids beforehand, as a urine test may be required.

    • Please avoid consuming Kava for at least 48 hours prior to your blood tests.

  • As part of the NZ Visa medical, women are required to undergo a urine test, which checks for the presence of blood, protein, or glucose. During your menstrual period, the presence of blood may affect the test results.

You can still proceed with the medical examination while menstruating. However, if your test shows blood in the urine, you may be asked to return for a repeat urine test after your period has ended. This additional test will be free of charge.

After your appointment

  • Our goal is to submit your medical to Immigration within 2-3 working days after your blood test results are available. Once your medical is submitted, you will receive confirmation from Immigration via email (for NZ Visa applicants only).

If additional reports or tests are necessary, we will assist you in coordinating and arranging these as needed.

  • Upon receiving your email request, we will send you a copy of your medical once Immigration confirms its receipt.

If any abnormalities or concerns are identified in your medical or chest X-ray, our medical staff will contact you via email to discuss the findings.

  • Unfortunately, we do not provide GP (General Practitioner) services for follow-up care after the medical examination. However, we can provide guidance on nearby medical centers for your convenience.
